Job summary

Principal People recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to support a major infrastructure framework across Kent and Sussex. You will provide practical HS&E guidance to project teams, helping to identify risk and drive improvements from planning through delivery.

The role requires a NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate and Tier 1 contractor experience. It offers hybrid working (1 day from home), a strong pipeline of work, and a competitive salary up to £57,000 plus car or allowance.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate required.
• Experience in Tier 1 contractor environments preferred.
• Background in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or highways.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HS&E support across Kent and Sussex projects.
• Identify risks with operational teams and drive improvements.
• Support projects through planning, pre-construction, mobilisation and delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and HS&E reviews.
• Review RAMS and Construction Phase Plans.
• Assist with incident investigations and continuous improvement.
