Sodexo is seeking a motivated Health & Safety Graduate to join our Healthcare team supporting services across Manchester Foundation Trust. You’ll work alongside experienced Health & Safety professionals to gain hands‑on experience in a complex healthcare environment and contribute to the safety and wellbeing of employees, patients and visitors.

You’ll develop skills across safety management, inspections, audits and reporting, while learning to apply legislation and Sodexo policies in daily

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Health, Safety and Environmental strategies.

• Assist with contractor management and compliance activities.

At Sodexo, we're looking for a motivated Health & Safety Graduate to join our Healthcare team supporting services across Manchester Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Health & Safety professionals, gaining hands‑on experience in a complex healthcare environment while contributing to the safety and wellbeing of employees, patients, visitors and contractors. This role offers exposure to all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental management, helping you build the skills, knowledge and experience needed for a successful career in the profession.

What You'll Do

• Supporting the delivery of Health, Safety and Environmental strategies and initiatives
• Assisting with workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
• Helping investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying opportunities for improvement
• Supporting the development of Safe Systems of Work and operational procedures
• Producing and analysing safety performance data and reports
• Assisting with contractor management and compliance activities
• Supporting safety meetings, action tracking and reporting
• Delivering safety briefings, training and awareness campaigns
• Helping ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards and Sodexo policies

You’ll work with colleagues at all levels of the business, gaining valuable experience across operational, technical and leadership aspects of safety management.
