Job Title: Health, Safety & Environmental Manager

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Location: Lincolnshire

An impressive client of ours in the food manufacturing sector is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager. This will be a key role in ensuring the site is compliant with all aspects of safety, sustainability, and regulations.

You will need to ensure a safe and healthy work environment by completing and regularly reviewing risk assessments, conducting audits, and investigations across all machinery, equipment, and operations. The role involves proactively working with onsite teams to foster a culture of safe and environmentally friendly practices across the organization.

Working alongside the senior management team, you will be responsible for devising and implementing the company's health and safety policies and systems, and staying up-to-date with all relevant legislation to ensure quality management systems meet the required standards.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Experience as an H&S Manager or H&S Advisor in the food manufacturing sector or in an operational role, with a passion for HSE and relevant certifications.
2. A passionate and strong communicator who can influence stakeholders to create a safe working culture.
3. Proactive rather than reactive in resolving issues.
4. NEBOSH and IOSH Certification.
5. Environmental certification is an advantage.
