HSE Advisor

Location : Kidderminster with occasional travel to Worcester

Salary : £35,000 to £40,000

Job Type : Full-time, on-site with multi-site travel

Latham & Bond Recruitment Group are supporting our client, a manufacturing business, in the search for an HSE Advisor. This role supports Health, Safety and Environmental compliance at the Coventry site while working closely with the wider HSE team across the group. It offers strong exposure, autonomy, and the chance to shape ongoing improvement activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain HSE processes and documentation, including risk assessments, machinery checks, alarm testing, COSHH assessments, and hazard or incident reporting.
  • Support the HSE Committee
  • Organise and carry out regular audits linked to Health, Safety and Environmental standards
  • Organise and deliver HSE training and inductions
  • Respond to HSE issues, investigate accidents, and assess unforeseen hazards.
  • Manage contractors on-site and oversee permits
  • Advise Site Managers and employees on Health and Safety issues
  • Conduct internal audits and work with the wider HSE team on action plans
  • Support external auditors during site visits
  • Keep up to date with HSE legislation and standards
  • Promote continuous improvement and strengthen HSE culture across the site
