Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator for a well-established manufacturing site in Blandford Forum. The role rewards meticulous attention to safety detail and clear, practical communication with production teams.

You’ll coordinate risk assessments, COSHH, permits to work, inductions and health clinics, support audits, and produce regular KPI reports. The position offers fixed hours, a Friday early finish, and a salary up to £32,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering or manufacturing with confidence to engage shop floor teams on safety matters.
• Any exposure or a relevant qualification in health and safety is a bonus, not a requirement.
• Comfortable with Excel and general admin, keeping accurate, well-organised records.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate health and safety compliance across site, maintaining accurate records including risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work
• Carry out regular floor walkthroughs, engaging directly with production staff to check safety procedures are being followed
• Support incident investigations and track corrective and preventive actions through to completion
• Coordinate inductions, equipment training and occupational health clinics
• Assist with internal and external audits, following up on any non-conformances
• Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports for the business

Health & Safety Coordinator - Blandford - up to £32,000 per annum
