Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment seeks a Health & Safety Coordinator in Blandford Forum to ensure safety compliance across the site. Up to £32,000 per year, with set hours and autonomy to manage priorities.

You'll monitor risk assessments, COSHH, permits to work, conduct floor walkthroughs with production staff, support audits, and produce KPI reports. Engineering or manufacturing background preferred; strong Excel and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health and safety compliance across site, maintaining records including risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work.
• Carry out floor walkthroughs with production staff to ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Support incident investigations and track corrective actions through to completion.
• Coordinate inductions, equipment training and occupational health clinics.
• Assist with audits and follow up on non-conformances.
• Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports for the business.

Health & Safety Coordinator - Blandford - up to £32,000 per annum

Up to £32,000 for a Health & Safety Coordinator who takes pride in getting the detail right, every time. You'll be the person people turn to for clear, accurate answers on safety compliance. A role where your engineering or manufacturing background finally gets put to proper use.

As a Health & Safety Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate health and safety compliance across site, maintaining accurate records including risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work
• Carry out regular floor walkthroughs, engaging directly with production staff to check safety procedures are being followed
• Support incident investigations and track corrective and preventive actions through to completion
• Coordinate inductions, equipment training and occupational health clinics
• Assist with internal and external audits, following up on any non-conformances
• Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports for the business

As a Health & Safety Coordinator, your experience will include:

• A background in engineering or manufacturing, with the confidence to engage shop floor teams on safety matters
