Bleckmann UK is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Compliance Manager to lead our safety programs across a fast-paced, 24/7 logistics environment. You will partner with operations, HR and facilities to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure strict adherence to UK legislation.

The role requires NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, strong communication and coaching skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifikationen

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience with risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence behaviours and promote a positive safety culture.
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexible approach to support a 24/7 operation.
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Partner with operational teams across a 24/7 logistics environment to drive Health & Safety excellence and ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture through coaching and floor presence.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments and reviews.
• Support investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver inductions and Health & Safety training.
• Coach managers on Health & Safety responsibilities and best practice.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Manage training compliance records and documentation.
• Oversee fleet compliance and ensure equipment is safe for use.
