Job description

This job application is restricted to applicants in the UK only.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated administrator to co-ordinate all aspects of the company’s health & safety management system and support both the Health & Safety and Compliance Team members in delivering an outstanding service to their internal and external customers.

You will co-ordinate the development of our documented health & safety management system, compliance functions, construction design & management documentation, health & safety training programme, communication plan, performance data and actions register. You will also manage the day to day running of contracts with our third-party service providers delivering contractor health & safety accreditation scheme services and providing lone worker safety devices.

The role is hugely varied, and we therefore need someone who is versatile, has excellent IT and communication skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload and work to tight deadlines. A collaborative approach is essential, but you must also be tenacious and persistent in order to ensure actions arising from our active and reactive monitoring programmes are satisfactorily resolved.

Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential for the right candidate as full training will be given and opportunities for development will be available to you.

We offer well maintained, affordable homes across East Staffordshire, South Derbyshire, and North West Leicestershire.

Over 6,000 properties, ranging from sheltered accommodation to family homes and everything in between.

We are driven to make a difference to people's lives and reduce homelessness in our region. By providing affordable homes and a wide range of supporting services we enable people and communities to thrive and enjoy life. Our Mission is to Transform Homes, Lives, and Communities in our region, and for more than 21 years now that is exactly what we have been doing.
