The Health & Safety Business Partner is responsible for providing professional health and safety support to operational sites across the North East. This includes health and safety systems, communications, assurance programmes, and health and safety projects.

Your core responsibilities

• Partner the business to deliver the vision, mission, and business plan for Health & Safety
• Provide expert advice on H&S risk controls
• Use specialist knowledge to provide assurance to stakeholders
• Educate, communicate, and train on H&S topics
• Develop and implement H&S improvement plans with operational colleagues
• Use root cause analysis for incident investigations
• Analyze data to provide insights that help reduce workplace harm
• Stay updated on H&S legislation through continuous professional development

Qualifications and experience:

• Recognized NEBOSH qualification and professional status
