Health, Safety and Quality Manager

QUALITY, HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER

BRISTOL

Due to ongoing success and company expansion, my client are looking to add to their skilled team with the addition of a Quality, Health & Safety Manager.

We are looking for an ambitious Manager, with good experience in both Quality and H&S. If you’re a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you. You will be working on a variety of Packaging Machinery equipment, which is manufactured and supplied to all parts of the globe.

THE ROLE:

• Ensure legality by advising and monitoring compliance with internal regulations for H&S and Quality.
• Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered too.
• Advising employees and managers on HSE issues.
• Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
• Maintain and monitor the QMS.
• Conduct internal audits on the QMS.
• Implement the companies Quality policy, ensuring everyone works in line with it.
• Run activities and training to maintain compliance to ISO 9001 standards.
• Prepare reports on quality based performance.
• Conduct annual reviews to ensure updates to processes are noted.

THE PERSON:

• Technical based degree (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in the HSE arena.
• Certified Quality manager – experience in maintenance of QMS system (preferred).
• Problem solving experience in methods such as 8D, Ishikawa.
• Ability to defect faults promptly.
• Risk management experience on projects.
• Previously led quality and CI initiatives in a Manufacturing company.
