Health, Safety and Fire Consultant

Location: North-West London

Salary: Up to £48,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance and Benefits

Are you looking for a varied role where you can gain exposure to a variety of industries? Irwin and Colton have been engaged by an industry-leading Health and Safety Consultancy who are looking to recruit a new Health, Safety and Fire Consultant. The organisation has a broad client portfolio across a wide range of industries including retail, hospitality, manufacturing, engineering, and property management with over 20,000 clients in the UK alone. This role will be covering client sites across the North-West London area.

Responsibilities

1. Partnering with clients to advise and report on health, safety, and fire across a range of client sites.
2. Reporting and monitoring onsite strategies and objectives for clients to help create a positive health and safety culture.
3. Delivering a range of services for clients, including auditing, policy reviews, training, risk assessments, and management systems assessments as required.
4. Engaging internally to share best practices and ideas, constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• NEBOSH Diploma / equivalent (NVQ Level 5) or membership of IOSH (CertIOSH).
• Proven experience delivering fire risk assessments (NEBOSH Fire & Risk Management certification would be advantageous).
• Experience working within a Health and Safety role; consultancy experience is ideal but not essential.
• Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and clients.
• A positive and pragmatic attitude to network and build strong client relationships.
• Full driving license, and comfortable to travel when required.
