HSE Officer, A&P Tyne
We have the largest commercial dry-dock on the East coast of England, along with a fabrication facility equipped with a panel line, rolling, plasma, and gas burning machines.
As part of our commitment to excellence and safety in our high-risk environment, we are seeking an additional HSE Officer to support and enhance our teams' awareness of health and safety risks related to training, behaviors, and equipment.

This is a varied role offering opportunities to work across all safety principles and standards, including training in areas you may not have previously experienced.
In our heavy industry environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring that through our safety culture program, everyone returns home safe and healthy each day.
You will monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as A&P procedures.
Reporting and recording health, safety, environmental, and quality performance, you will assist in investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, recommending actions to promote positive change and improvements.
Aligned with our values of responsibility and sustainability, you will conduct and assist with risk assessments and the development of safe systems of work, providing advice on health, safety, environmental, and quality matters to management and teams.
You will review project requirements and their impact on safety advice, ensuring compliance with legislation in a professional manner when interacting with colleagues, customers, and contractors.
