Responsibilities and duties of the HSE Manager role

Reporting to the Project Director, you will:

  1. Lead all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities across the project, ensuring compliance with CDM2015 and the client's integrated management system.
  2. Develop and maintain the Construction Phase Plan and Environmental Management Plan throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Ensure adherence to the client's Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Standards, updating action plans as necessary.
  4. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and investigations to drive a zero-incident safety culture.
  5. Deliver health, safety, and environmental training to site teams.
  6. Oversee compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management and pollution control.
  7. Provide technical advice to the project team and liaise with stakeholders to ensure best practices are followed.
