Wilson James is recruiting a Health & Safety Apprentice to join our expert Health & Safety team in London with nationwide travel. The role offers a permanent, full-time pathway while you study towards a recognised Health & Safety qualification and gain practical experience across diverse projects.

You will support campaigns, inspections and reporting, contributing to safer workplaces and a positive safety culture within a large national operation.

Qualifikationen

• Interest in health and safety and wellbeing.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• GCSEs in English and Maths; full UK driving licence.

• Support health and safety initiatives, campaigns and improvement projects.
• Assist with site inspections, audits and workplace observations.
• Monitor safety performance and compliance across operational locations.
• Support incident investigations and gather information on safety concerns and near misses.
• Maintain health and safety records, documentation and reporting systems.
• Produce reports, presentations and internal communications.
• Attend meetings and help track actions and outcomes.
• Assist with mobilisation of new contracts and Health & Safety requirements.
• Promote a positive safety culture and encourage safe behaviours.

You'll ideally have:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Confidence to ask questions and seek support when needed.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• A full UK driving licence or the ability to travel to sites nationally
