Job summary

Citizen is hiring a Health & Safety Advisor to provide expert guidance across our housing portfolio. You will oversee audits, investigations, training delivery and policy development while promoting a proactive safety culture.

A NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent and TechIOSH membership are required, with a driving licence and willingness to travel within the operating area. The role is based across Birmingham and surrounding regions with 37 hours per week, paying £46,877 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting health and safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication skills to advise and influence across levels.
• Willingness to travel across Citizen's operating area and hold a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical health and safety advice to managers and colleagues.
• Carry out audits, inspections and risk assessment reviews.
• Support accident investigations and share learning outcomes.
• Develop and deliver health and safety training and campaigns.
• Help maintain policies, procedures and emergency arrangements.
