Job summary

Liberty Recruitment Group are partnering with a well-established organisation in Fareham to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Advisor. This full-time role offers up to £50,000 plus benefits and is based on-site in Fareham.

You will provide practical HSE guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and continually enhance the organisation's approach to safe and sustainable working. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification required.
• IOSH or IIRSM membership/qualification preferred.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience writing and reviewing Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Proven experience leading incident investigations and producing reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Eligible to obtain UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert Health & Safety advice across business operations and customer projects.
• Maintain knowledge of legislation and industry best practice.
• Promote compliance and a positive safety culture across the business.
• Lead investigations into incidents and identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Implement preventive and remedial measures to improve safe working practices.
• Ensure training and procedures align with legislation and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain Health & Safety and environmental management systems.
• Conduct audits and inspections and drive improvement actions.
