Job Opportunity: Health and Safety Advisor

We are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor for a UK-based Multidiscipline Construction Contractor located in East London. This position is available on a contract or permanent basis for the suitable candidate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Promoting and developing a health and safety culture across the organization
2. Updating H&S policies and procedures as needed
3. Providing advice and guidance to site teams on health and safety matters
4. Ensuring all plant and equipment comply with H&S regulations
5. Conducting detailed site safety audits and recommending actions
6. Issuing method statements and risk assessments where required
7. Assisting with pre-qualification questionnaires
8. Participating in site walks during tender stages when necessary

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience as a Health and Safety Advisor, SHE, HSE, or similar roles
• Certifications such as CSCS, NEBOSH, IOSH
• Previous experience in construction or a related field
• Thorough knowledge of health, safety, risk management, and current legislation
