Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for London and the M25 corridor, split between site inspections and office reporting. The role includes one day a week in the Dartford Office.

You will support the Health & Safety Manager on façade remediation and building safety projects, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and company procedures while contributing to continuous improvement and long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Good understanding of UK health & safety legislation and best practice.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections, audits and safety reviews to ensure compliance.
• Produce inspection reports, monitor corrective actions and support site teams.
• Provide practical health & safety advice to Project Managers and Site Managers.
• Assist with incident investigations, risk assessments and method statements.
• Split time between project sites and regional office to prepare reports.

Position: Health & Safety Advisor
Location: London & M25 Corridor (Site & Office Based) – 1 day a week in Dartford Office

Bennett & Game are representing one of the UK's fastest‑growing fa ade remediation and building safety Main Contractors who are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join their expanding Southern division.

With almost 30 years of specialist expertise, the business has built an outstanding reputation delivering complex fa ade remediation, cladding replacement, fire safety and external refurbishment projects across the UK. Having already secured approximately three years of confirmed work, turnover has increased from 32m to around 45m this year, with ambitions to exceed 55m next year. Their Southern region has grown rapidly over the past 12 months and continues to expand as they secure major remediation schemes across London and the M25, alongside an increasing portfolio of photovoltaic (PV) installations as part of wider building safety and sustainability programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor where health and safety is central to every project. Reporting into the regional Health & Safety Manager, you'll support the delivery of high‑value building safety and fa ade remediation projects across London and the South East. The role offers a varied split between site inspections and office‑based reporting, working within a modern, collaborative business that genuinely invests in its people and offers excellent long‑term career progression.

Health & Safety Advisor Position Overview

• Support the Health & Safety Manager across multiple fa ade remediation and building safety projects throughout London and the M25 corridor
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety reviews to ensure compliance with current legislation and company procedures
• Produce inspection reports, monitor corrective actions and assist site teams in maintaining the highest health & safety standards
• Provide practical health & safety advice to Project Managers, Site Managers and operational teams across live projects
• Assist with incident investigations, risk assessments, method statements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Split your time between project sites and the regional office, preparing reports and supporting the wider operational team

Health & Safety Advisor Position Requirements

• Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction industry
• Experience working for a Main Contractor is highly desirable, ideally with exposure to fa ade remediation, external envelope, high‑rise residential or Building Safety Act projects
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent Health & Safety qualification)
• Good understanding of current UK health & safety legislation and construction best practice
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to sites across London and the M25 corridor, with office‑based reporting as required
