Job summary

GoodPeople are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Adviser to join a busy Health and Safety Team supporting operations across a large organisation. You will deliver practical health and safety advice, undertake inspections and audits, support incident investigations, and develop action plans across social housing, construction and estates management.

Based at Ashington in Northumberland, the role requires a NEBOSH Diploma, strong auditing and communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent required.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate beneficial.
• Proven track record in health and safety auditing and action plans.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health and safety objectives and projects.
• Provide practical advice on health and safety matters within your area.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety arrangements, processes, legislation and best practice.
• Carry out inspections and audits of work areas, activities, plant and equipment.
• Develop and monitor action plans to completion.
• Attend client and contractor meetings and deliver health and safety training.
• Maintain accurate health and safety records and contribute to reporting.
