Job summary

University of Leicester invites applications for a Knowledge Mobilisation & Impact Specialist within the NIHR ARC East Midlands. You will bridge academia, policy and practice, translating complex research into accessible outputs to support decision-making across health and care systems.

Working with the Head of Knowledge Mobilisation, you will design knowledge mobilisation activities, synthesise evidence, develop practical resources, and evaluate how research informs practice across NHS and

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent experience in applied research, knowledge mobilisation and impact.
Experience in applied health research, implementation science or related areas of the health and care sector.
Ability to translate research into practical products for non-academic audiences and supporting adoption of evidence-informed innovation across organisations.

Responsibilities

Bridge the gap between academia, policy and practice by translating complex research findings into accessible outputs.
Align research innovations with national and regional priorities to enable adoption and impact across NHS, local government and partner organisations.
Identify knowledge needs, co-design knowledge mobilisation activities, synthesise evidence and develop impactful resources.
Evaluate how research is used in practice to inform decision-making across health and care systems.
