Job summary

Weston College invites applications for a part-time Practice Educator - Health (22.2 hours per week) on a maternity cover basis. You will join the Health team delivering a range of programmes across health and social care, applying your knowledge of the care and health sciences industry to learners in college or workplace settings.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the Health and Social Care industry.
• Relevant medical and/or clinical occupational experience.

Responsibilities

• Assessing across Health and Social Care programmes, delivering the learning aims through teaching, tutorials, workshops, observation, reviews and assessments.
• Course leading vocational and work-based learning programmes for learners in Health and Social Care, ensuring high levels of achievement.
• Delivering an exceptional learner experience through outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and progression outcomes.
• Assist in course management, applying awarding/validating body regulations and upholding academic standards.
