Babcock's Health Physics Graduate Programme at Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth invites graduates with a physics, chemistry or biology background to join a two-year rotation across radiological projects, monitoring radiation levels and reviewing safety procedures while training under experienced specialists.

The programme includes a postgraduate qualification in Radiological Protection, mentor support, and a clear pathway to a permanent Health Physics role, with relocation and travel to HMS

Formación

• Qualified in or on track to achieve a BSc (Hons) degree in Physics, Chemistry or Biology.
• Postgraduate qualification in Radiological Protection is desirable but not essential.
• Willing to undertake placements and travel as required for training and modules.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor radiation levels and support safety procedures on naval programmes.
• Review radiological safety procedures and carry out assessments.
• Rotate across teams to gain experience in radiological projects over two years.
• Learn from experienced specialists and contribute to safety measures.
• Complete a postgraduate Radiological Protection qualification as part of the programme.
