Job description

Your Role:

Due to growth within the team, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Health Economics and Outcomes Research Manager to join us on a hybrid working basis in Feltham. You will be an integral part of the Market Access, Pricing and Government and Public Affairs team, as well as the business unit extended team, helping build robust economic value propositions for medicines with the aim of securing patient access to innovative treatments across the UK and ROI. In this role, you will be responsible for executing HEOR strategy for products across the lifecycle, with a focus on pre-launch HTA workstreams. This role involves extensive engagement with key local, regional, and global colleagues, as well as external stakeholders who influence market access, pricing, and reimbursement at both the national and local levels.

Who you are:
  • Previous experience (either in the pharmaceutical industry or related consultancy) in Health Economics
  • Experience with HTA submissions to UK and ROI HTA agencies (NICE, SMC, NCPE) - desirable
  • Master's degree in health economics or a related discipline
  • Project management skills & experience - desirable
  • Experience with evidence synthesis (systematic literature review, indirect comparisons, etc.)
  • Economic modelling experience (cost-effectiveness, budget impact)
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High level of numeracy and attention to detail, capable of detailed analysis and interpretation of data
  • Experience using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Experience in generating real-world evidence is desirable
  • A good understanding of the NHS, including funding issues, pricing, commissioning, and market access processes
