Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or closely related field (statistics, physics, biomedical engineering).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Firebase, BigQuery).
• Practical experience with Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of wearable, molecular and health data.
• Experience with large-scale real-world time-series data.
• Strong communication with multidisciplinary researchers.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop data pipelines for My Heart Counts smartphone app data and integrate with clinical, biological (omics), and environmental datasets.
• Manage cloud resources (Google Cloud) and ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Assist researchers across institutions with data queries and troubleshooting.
• Perform descriptive and quantitative data analyses and maintain accurate records.
• Support preparation of reports for sponsors and contribute to publications.
• Present work at internal meetings, conferences and workshops.
• Provide guidance to staff and students and contribute to grant bids.
