NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting for a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to join Ward 29 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. The role involves supporting the nursing team with patient care, daily activities, and maintaining a safe environment.
As a Band 2, no formal qualification is required, but good communication and teamworking are essential. The position is permanent, full-time (36 hours), with shifts including days, nights and weekends.

We are looking for a motivated and caring Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to join Ward 29 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Our 24-bedded urology ward provides high-quality care to patients with a range of urological conditions.
In this role, you will support the nursing team with delivering patient care, assisting with daily activities, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring patients are always treated with dignity and respect. Previous care experience is desirable, along with good communication skills and a compassionate approach.
Band 2 roles are not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes.
