Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is hosting a Band 2 Health Care Support Worker recruitment event across all divisions and sites. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend the event at Nightingale House, Whiston Hospital on 24 November 2026.

We are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic individuals to provide personal care and support as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering safe, high-quality and patient-centred care across trust sites.

Formación

• NVQ level 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centred care.

Responsabilidades

• Undertaking personal care duties for patients, with supervision available from a registered healthcare practitioner.
• Recording patients' personal care information in accordance with local and Trust policies.
• Working collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to deliver the Trust's vision and values.
• Supporting new employees by demonstrating the routine within your own ward or work area.
