Salary & Benefits

£23,970 per annum pro rata, with temporary top-up reflecting the living wage (£12.60/hr, £24,638 pa). The top-up is temporary until the 2025/26 pay uplift is confirmed.

Role Overview

We are recruiting Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs) to join our team at Morriston Hospital. This role involves caring for patients, learning new skills, and working with a dedicated team. The shifts include long days (7:00am - 7:30pm) and night duties (7:00pm - 7:30am). Applicants should be flexible with shift timings.

Main Duties

• Deliver care under supervision of registered healthcare professionals
• Assist with personal care and delegated tasks in accordance with HEIW Wales Guidelines
• Keep registered staff informed of patient conditions
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in the healthcare setting
• Adhere to the Health Board's values and the Code of Conduct for HCSWs
