Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to a pending pay award. The final salary will be adjusted in line with the nationally agreed pay award.

We are currently recruiting 30-hour Care and Support Worker Level 2 days to join Hafan Deg Residential Care Home, Lampeter, on a permanent basis.

About the role

No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. Your day-to-day duties may include:

  • Providing total care to clients according to care plans;
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance, especially during changes or family crises;
  • Administering prescribed medication, including controlled drugs, following policy and procedures;
  • Escorting clients on outings, such as leisure trips;
  • Completing daily records;
  • Undertaking cleaning, laundry, and dining room service.
