Job summary

A major health organization in North Wales is seeking applications for a role supporting the nursing team at Glan Clwyd Hospital. The successful candidate will assist registered nurses in delivering care within a busy gastroenterology ward. Applicants should ideally have Level 2 in health and social care or equivalent experience. Training will be provided as needed, and speaking Welsh is desirable. This role is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about providing care and support in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses to deliver care to patients.
  • Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan.
  • Carry out duties under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Applications are invited for an exciting opportunity to join the ward 9 nursing team in Glan Clwyd Hospital. The role will involve team working to support the Doctors and Nursing staff in supporting people in our care on a busy gastroenterology ward.

The successful candidate will be offered specific training as required to fulfil the role.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

To assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver based care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers.

Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan. Carry out a wide range of duties under the supervision of a registered nurse for the period of the shift.
