Health Care Support Worker

Yorsexual health are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our well-established team in Northallerton.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills as the post is a progression from Band 2 to Band 3 role within the service. This contract is for up to 24 hours per week.

Please note that cross site travel is a requirement for this role

Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Support Worker at York Hospital, you will be part of a multi‑professional team providing high standards of care to our patients. You will maintain and promote patient independence and dignity to ensure each patient receives a positive experience. Please see the attached document 'Healthcare Support Worker Key Duties' to see a full list of key duties.

You must be able to commit to our Full Time HCSW Academy for the first 4 weeks of your employment with our Trust. Please note our HCSW Academy takes place at our training site in Holgate, York. We are unable to provide travel options or reimburse travel costs for attendance at this.
