There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top-up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum). This top-up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Aneurin Bevan University Health Board within the Trauma & Orthopaedics department at the Royal Gwent Hospital. The post holder will work as part of a team providing healthcare services to patients within an inpatient department/ward, focusing on the direct needs of service users undergoing treatments.
This role offers the chance to develop your skills and experience while making a difference to patient care.
With strong team working skills, you should demonstrate the values important to us, communicate well with colleagues and patients, and help move the service forward. Respect and dignity in treatment are essential.
The post holder is expected to work within clinical competencies, supported by base knowledge, and have completed a learning package at QCF/CQFW level 2. Evidence of competence/skills and knowledge should be demonstrated via KSF. All activities will be in line with the NLIAH (2010) All Wales Guidelines for Delegation.
You will observe a personal duty of care regarding equipment use and storage, participate in demonstrating activities to less experienced staff, follow care plans, and record patient observations and care provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
