Job summary

LV Care Group is seeking Health Care Assistants for Cheval Roc, Jersey to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality care in Residential/Nursing settings. You will support Service Users with personal care, mobility, and daily needs, while upholding dignity and safety in line with Care Plans.

The role requires strong communication, literacy and numeracy, and a collaborative approach. Training is provided, with opportunities for progression and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Desirable: RQF Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• If without Level 2, the Care Certificate must be completed.
• Level 3 RQF Medication Unit is required for medication administration tasks.
• Good literacy and numeracy is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a care team to provide high-quality care.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of Service Users.
• Assist with personal care per Care Plans and promote independence.
• Review progress and report any deterioration in health.
• Follow infection prevention and control policies.
• Liaise with other agencies as required.
• Respect the rights and choices of Service Users.
• Attend supervision and appraisal meetings.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in audits and contribute to continuous improvement.
