Job summary

Exemplar Health Care’s Hylton Grange in Sunderland is seeking a Health Care Assistant to support adults with complex needs in a warm, respectful environment. You will assist with personal care, meals, and wellbeing, while helping residents participate in activities both inside and outside the home.

No two days are the same; you’ll contribute to high-quality care and be part of a supportive team with ongoing training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings is beneficial but not required.

• Excellent listening and communication skills.

Job description

Position: Health Care Assistant

Care home: Hylton Grange

Location: 1 Poole Road, Sunderland, SR4 0HG

Contract type: Permanent - Full and part time contracts available. Full time: 12hr shifts - 8am to 8pm/8pm to 8am, Part time: 6am to 11am, 6pm to 12am, 11am to 3pm

Rate: £12.71 per hour (£12.81 per hour on completion of Exemplar care certificate)
