Job summary

Maidstone Care Centre, part of RCH Care Homes Limited, is seeking Health Care Assistants to join a friendly team. The role covers Nursing, Residential and Dementia care for older people, with both permanent and part-time positions available.

All applicants must be double vaccinated and ready to engage in ongoing training and development. Induction is provided, with a clear career pathway and benefits package including pension, annual leave, and perks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care (washing, hygiene, dressing, feeding).
• Providing physical and mental stimulation through activities with residents.
• Supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Contributing to resident care plans and awareness of specialist support needs.
• Assisting residents with mobility and daily activities.

Job description

Maidstone Care Centre is a welcoming, beautifully decorated and purpose-built care home which specialises in Nursing, Residential and Dementia care for older people, and is currently seeking Health Care Assistants to join our friendly team.

Both permanent and part time positions are available.

All applicatants must be double vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and feeding
• Providing physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities or events with residents, both individually and as a group
• Taking responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of the residents
• Being aware and participating in the development of resident Care plans and having full awareness of any specialist support needs
• Assisting residents with mobility and support

Preferable Attributes

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (desirable but not required)
• Ability to organise efficiently and prioritise workloads whilst under pressure
• A minimum of 3 months' experience in a care environment
