An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time HealthCare Administrator to join our friendly, supportive, forward-thinking ReceptionTeam.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a professional approach to reception and administration duties, you will be a vital addition to the smooth running of the practice. You will be at the forefront of the practice, being the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Hours of work will be between 8am 6pm over Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturdays.
Stirchley Medical Practiceis based in South East Telford, and serves a population of approximately 25000.We work over 2 sites. We have a large primary care team. We value the importance of the team working,and are a supportive practice, encouraging all our staff to partake in regularbreaks/ social events etc.
Greet and assist patients and health care professionals in a friendly, and empathetic manner.
Manage incoming telephone calls, ensuring prompt and courteous responses to patient queries.
Book, cancel, and reschedule appointments efficiently using the clinical system.
Care Navigate patients to the right appointment at the right time.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Provide accurate and relevant information.
Encourage patients to use the online booking system to book appointments and make medication requests
Respond to the needs of clinicians during surgery
Liaise with other health care professionals
