We're seeking an accomplished Health & Safety (H&S) Manager to oversee our Manufacturing business in the West Midlands. This role presents a compelling opportunity for a seasoned H&S professional to spearhead and cultivate a robust Health and Safety Culture across our expansive manufacturing site, which hosts diverse operations.
Our ideal candidate will hold an NVQ 6 or Diploma Level Health & Safety qualification, complemented by hands-on experience in managing the relevant management standards 14001 & 45001. Additionally, CMIOSH status or progression towards it would be advantageous.
As a dynamic and passionate individual, you'll be joining a formidable management team that offers guidance and support, empowering you to shape and advance health and safety standards while assuming full ownership of safety protocols.
In this pivotal role, you'll undertake a variety of hands-on operational responsibilities, serving as the steward of H&S matters. This includes overseeing ISO 45001 compliance, chairing monthly H&S meetings, conducting inductions and toolbox talks, as well as reviewing risk assessments, SSOW, and SOPs.
