Position: Health and Safety Consultant

Salary: £40,000 to £47,000 per annum + £5,000 car allowance and benefits

Shirley Parsons has exclusively partnered with an established consultancy that has an opening for a Health and Safety Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering client sites in Harlow and surrounding areas, delivering Health and Safety services primarily to SME businesses. This is a home-based role suitable for candidates residing in and around Harlow, with regional travel to client sites.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver Health and Safety services including Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments, auditing, reporting, and training.
2. Act as the "Competent Person" for your client portfolio on behalf of the company.
3. Ensure smooth progression of all client matters and respond promptly to telephone and email queries.
4. Propose and communicate ideas for service improvement to the Regional Manager.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in Health and Safety and Fire Risk Assessments in consultancy or multiple sectors.
• Ideally, a diploma or degree-level qualification in Health and Safety.
• Membership with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to build excellent working relationships.
