Pick Everard is seeking an ambitious Health and Safety Construction Consultant to join our practice in Glasgow. You will support our mission to provide dynamic Health and Safety services as part of a collaborative team.

As a Health and Safety Construction Consultant, you will work with the design team to reduce and manage risks in design for our clients. Your responsibilities include ensuring project compliance with CDM 2015 and conducting regular site visits for health and safety inspections, reporting back to the client.

You will be part of a reputable business with a strong industry reputation for client care and quality, collaborating with diverse industry experts. We pride ourselves on our 150-year heritage and ongoing progress as a leading consultancy.

You Can Expect To Become Involved In

• Projects across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, education, and defense.

Your Core Duties Will Include

• Attending project and design meetings
• Attending site meetings
• Completing site appraisals and risk assessments
• Reviewing project and client information
• Providing written reports to clients and teams
• Conducting site inspections and audits

About You

Our ideal Health and Safety Consultant will have:

• Comprehensive knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations
• Practical experience managing or providing CDM/H&S advisory services
• Experience in the Principal Designer role and design risk management
• Experience in construction site safety or design (Architecture, Engineering, Surveying, etc.)
• NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent (preferred)

• Professional qualifications in construction, engineering, or surveying
• Membership of a recognized Health & Safety organization
