Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of health and safety systems across civil engineering projects.

• Ensure all works are delivered in line with current HSE legislation and company procedures.
• Carry out regular site inspections and audits across active project sites.
• Identify, record, and track non-conformances (NCRs) through to effective close-out.
• Assist in incident investigations, including root cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Support the introduction of new processes, technologies, and safe working practices.
• Liaise with site teams, engineers, and management to maintain high safety standards.

Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to support delivery across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of health and safety systems across civil engineering projects
• Promote a proactive safety culture across site teams and project delivery functions
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with current HSE legislation and company procedures
