An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to enhance workplace safety and compliance. This role involves developing safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and delivering essential training to staff. Duties will include providing health and safety assistance to managers across all functions, developing procedures and guidance on various health and safety matters, undertaking risk assessments, advising on risk control, delivering health and safety training, completing workplace inspections, investigating accidents and incidents, and conducting audits of the health and safety management system.
Holding a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or an equivalent qualification, or willingness to work towards achieving this, is required. Candidates should have significant relevant experience in an occupational safety and health role.
