Job description

Our client is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team in Nottingham. The successful Health and Safety Advisor will work across sectors including Education, Retail, and Construction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, a NEBOSH Certificate, IOSH Qualification, and proficiency with digital and cloud-based systems.

Job Overview

• Provide health & safety support to clients
• Conduct comprehensive health and safety management audits in education, retail, and construction sectors
• Prepare detailed reports on hazard identification, accident investigations, and funding applications
• Coordinate with colleagues on health and safety issues
• Deliver and develop CPD-accredited health and safety training, including asbestos management, accident investigation, and manual handling
• Support property-related health and safety matters such as fire safety, asbestos, and legionella management
• Assist in developing local policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• Living in or near Nottingham
• At least 5 years of professional experience in health & safety
• IOSH qualification
• Comfortable working with digital and cloud-based systems
• Willing to travel across the UK if required
• Full UK driving license
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
