Base pay range

I am partnering with a leading London based company that operates within the building services sector. It provides a range of mechanical and electrical engineering solutions to clients across various industries including high end, mid-level residential, commercial fitouts, data centre delivery, offsite modular engineering and the growing life science sectors. The company is involved in the design, installation and maintenance of systems tailored to meet specific project requirements.

As the business continues to grow, they are looking to expand their Health and Safety department and are currently seeking a driven and proactive HSQE Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the development and implementation of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental strategies across multiple sites and projects. Roles and Responsibilities

• HSQE Project and documentation support including Preliminary and Construction Stage Safety and Health Plans
• Maintain compliance with current Environmental, Health and Safety legislation and maintain awareness of legislative changes and industry standards
• Obtaining and reviewing safety documentation from Clients, Suppliers and Subcontractors
• Carrying out Site Inspections and produce reports.
• Assist the site team in the preparation of Method Statements, Risk Assessments and associated documentation and records.
• Prepare and carry out site toolbox talks.
• Daily/weekly reporting to the Business, project management staff and client.
• Conduct incident/accident investigations and prepare reports for internal/external purposes.
• Provide HSQE advice and direction to staff and contractors, liaising with Site Personnel.
• Compilation of Safety Files and O&M Manuals.
• Hold a recognised HSQE qualification of a minimum NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction
• Minimum of 2 years HSQE experience in the construction industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and spoken.
• Excellent planning, organisational, training, teamwork, problem resolution and presentation skills.
