We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our Lincoln-based award-winning Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Team. Our in-house team aims to be approachable and flexible, working with site teams to successfully deliver projects.

Reporting directly to the Head of Group Health, Safety, and Environment, you will have excellent communication and influencing skills, coupled with the ability to work on your own initiative. A background in the Construction industry is ESSENTIAL. Previous knowledge of audits is desirable.

Role responsibilities include:

• Ensuring a safe workplace without risk to health & environment
• Adhering to company Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations across the group
• Carrying out safety inspections as per departmental expectations
• Providing sound, competent advice to site management and assisting in resolving issues
• Liaising with external consultants
• Providing regular updates on site issues to the EHS Team
• Attending meetings and audits as required
• Collaborating with site teams to resolve problems
• Building strong relationships at all levels

We seek a candidate with strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills. You must be assertive, confident, and capable of fostering positive working relationships, solving problems, and responding calmly to changing situations.

The position is permanent and full-time, with hours from Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00.
