Health and Safety Advisor
Essex Area
Salary up to £50,000 per annum + Car Allowance

Our client, a leading specialist in major infrastructure projects, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with a focus on construction and infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
3. Develop and implement health and safety strategies and procedures.
4. Develop documentation including RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements), Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans, and CoSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) assessments.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
2. A minimum of 4 years' experience in a health and safety role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
3. Experience with CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations.
4. Experience working on highways projects is considered a bonus.

This role reports to the HSEQ Manager, Site Manager, and clients as required.
