We are innovative! That's why we need people like you to help us. People who enjoy finding new ways to solve problems and get things done.
We're looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our team supporting our Southern Water contract. This is an excellent opportunity to use your expertise in a hands‑on role, partnering with operational teams to promote safe working practices, support colleague wellbeing and drive continuous improvement across a key water sector contract.
This is not a desk‑based role. You'll be out on site, building relationships, providing practical advice and helping teams deliver work safely and efficiently. This role will be covering Kent and West Sussex.
You have significant experience in a Health & Safety advisory role and enjoy working closely with operational teams to provide practical, solutions-focused support. You'll have a sound working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and its application within a construction, utilities, water or civil engineering environment, together with an understanding of environmental impacts and the importance of health and wellbeing in creating a positive safety culture.
You’ll be confident influencing and supporting colleagues at all levels, promoting best practice and helping teams meet their legal Health, Safety and Wellbeing responsibilities.
A NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent) is essential, along with Tech IOSH membership (or working towards Graduate IOSH). A full UK driving licence is required, and you’ll be flexible to travel across Kent and West Sussex and flexibility in working hours to support operational requirements.
