Description

1. Provide specialist Health and Safety advice to the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
2. Implement and maintain safety policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
3. Perform risk assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
4. Lead safety training sessions for staff members.
5. Investigate accidents or incidents, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
6. Participate in health and safety committee meetings.
7. Compile and present health and safety performance reports.
8. Stay abreast of industry developments and changes in health and safety legislation.

Profile

A successful Health and Safety Advisor should have:

1. An academic qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
2. Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
3. Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver safety training and presentations.
