Job summary

BeyondHR, a leading HR and Health and Safety services provider in Northern Ireland, is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor for the BeyondSafety brand in Ballymena. You will deliver expert guidance, audits, investigations, policies, risk assessments, and training to a diverse client base.

The role requires 2 years' industrial experience, a NEBOSH Certificate, and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle; hybrid working options are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to clients on health and safety obligations.
• Conduct H&S audits of client sites with reports and recommendations.
• Lead accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop bespoke health and safety policies, procedures, risk assessments (including COSHH).
• Deliver engaging H&S training and briefings to client teams.

HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR

Salary band: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus Bonus

Working Pattern: Full-time, with hybrid working options available

As a Health and Safety Advisor within BeyondSafety, you will report to the Senior H&S Consultant and play a critical role in shaping robust safety cultures for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert guidance to clients on their legal health and safety obligations.
• Conducting comprehensive H&S audits of client sites, delivering insightful reports and actionable recommendations.
• Leading accident investigations, ensuring thorough analysis and preventative measures.
• Collaborating with clients to develop bespoke health and safety policies, procedures, risk assessments (including COSHH), and safe systems of work.
• Delivering engaging H&S training and briefings to client teams.
• Keeping clients informed with proactive updates on new legislation and best practice.
• Acting as a crucial liaison with enforcing authorities on behalf of clients.
• Actively contributing to the commercial growth and development of our health and safety services.
• We seek a flexible, positive, and commercially aware individual with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You will excel both independently and as part of a collaborative team, thriving on making a tangible impact. Given the client-facing nature of this role, travel across Northern Ireland, and occasionally to Scotland and England, is required. Therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
