Lime Tree Education Search Ltd is assisting an established independent specialist SEND school in Birmingham to appoint an ambitious Headteacher. The role requires leading the school’s development, working with the leadership team to strengthen educational leadership, and ensuring the curriculum and provision meet diverse pupil needs.

The successful candidate will drive educational strategy, safeguarding, admissions and governance while building leadership capacity and maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Experience of senior educational leadership in a school setting.
• Strong track record in teaching, learning, curriculum and school improvement.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and commitment to vulnerable learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and educational leadership across the school.
• Drive Quality of Education and lead development of teaching, learning, curriculum and assessment.
• Shape provision for pupils with autism and SEMH and ensure integrated approaches.
