Job summary

Qualifications

• An inspirational, values-led leader who will embrace and further develop our distinctive Christian ethos.
• A strategic thinker with the ambition, experience and judgement to lead sustainable school improvement.
• An excellent classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of teaching, learning and curriculum across Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
• A visible, approachable leader who can inspire, develop and support staff.
• Someone who will build strong relationships with children, staff, parents and carers, Governors, the Church and wider community.
• A commitment to inclusion and removing barriers to learning and achievement, including for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
• The leadership and management skills to use the school's people, resources and finances effectively.

Responsibilities

• Visits to the school by arrangement are warmly welcomed and coordinated through the designated contact.
• Lead the school and secure continuous improvement in education and outcomes for our children.
• Safeguarding and promoting welfare, including DBS checks and related compliance.
• Engage with Governors, parents, carers, church, and wider community to support school developments.
