Job summary

LTM is seeking a Middleware Backend Engineer to design and implement scalable backend solutions using Golang, TypeScript, and a headless Shopify Hydrogen setup. You will collaborate with frontend teams to translate Figma designs into robust APIs and services.

The role focuses on building GraphQL APIs, managing PostgreSQL and DynamoDB data, and deploying cloud-native apps on AWS with Docker, NestJS, and microservices patterns. This is a hybrid London-based role with on-site two days weekly.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building middleware/backend with Golang and TypeScript.
• Experience with Shopify Hydrogen in a headless setup and ReactJS.
• Strong understanding of GraphQL, microservices, and AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop middleware and backend solutions using Hydrogen in a headless architecture.
• Implement UI designs by translating Figma into functional components and APIs.
• Build scalable backend services with Golang, NestJS and TypeScript.
• Work with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB for efficient data management.
• Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs for data querying.
• Leverage AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, S3, Step Functions, SNS, SQS) and containerization with Docker.
• Develop Golang microservices ensuring performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend/design teams; participate in reviews, testing and deployment.
